The short version
Songlio is a music-guessing party game. We collect the minimum we need to run the game, keep score, and let you play with friends. We don't sell your personal data, and we don't run third-party advertising trackers.
Information we collect
When you play, we store the profile you create (display name and avatar choice) and your gameplay data — scores, streaks, multiplayer results, and leaderboard standings. If you choose to share a Receipt, the image is generated on your device. We also collect basic, anonymous usage analytics to understand how the app is used and to fix bugs.
How we use your information
We use your information to run the game, save your progress and streaks, match you with friends in multiplayer rooms, show leaderboards, and improve the app. We do not use your data to build advertising profiles.
Sharing your information
Your display name, avatar, and scores are visible to other players in rooms and on leaderboards you take part in. Beyond that, we don't share your personal information with third parties except trusted service providers who help us operate the app (such as hosting and analytics), and only as needed to provide the service.
Sharing a Receipt
Sharing your end-of-game Receipt is always optional and only happens when you tap to share. Receipt images are created on your device. We never auto-post on your behalf.
Music content
Songlio plays short audio clips for you to identify. We don't store recordings of your microphone or device audio — guesses are typed in by you.
Data retention and deletion
We keep your profile and gameplay data while your account is active. If you'd like your data deleted, email us at the address below and we'll remove your profile and associated game data.
Children's privacy
Songlio is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we'll delete it.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we'll update the date below. Continued use of the app means you accept the updated policy.
